Hold by four carriers walking in rhythm, a coffin crosses the hall of Centquatre-Paris and reminds the past funeral parlor by the way of fiction. Employees, who worked here to make and transport coffins, throw messages to people who are here today. Joiners, seamstresses or coachman, this characters are the link between past and present and offer us another look on the place. The texts are a set of invented stories, anecdotes, comparisons, descriptions, widely inspiring by the past activity of the Centquatre.
